    10 Time and Work Questions for SSC — Part 1 (2020)

    In this post, we have created a list of 10 important time and work questions for SSC CGL and CHSL. This is the first part of time and work problem series. These questions are in MCQ format and their answer key is at the end of the page. It is upside down to discourage cheating.

    Time and Work Questions for SSC (Easy)

    These are some easy time and work problems that you should be able to solve in 5-10 seconds.

    1) To complete a work, Chandralekha takes 34% more time than Raj. They take 67 days to complete the work together. How much time will Raj take to do it alone?

    2) Simran and Mitali can complete a work together in 6 days. If for the last 16 days Simran alone does the work then it is completed in 110 days. How long will Mitali take to complete the work alone?

    Time and Work Questions for SSC (Medium)

    These are some time and work problems with medium difficulty level. Try to solve them in 15-20 seconds.

    4) 6 men and 8 women can do a job in 24 days while 12 men and 12 women can do it in 15 days. How long will a group of 12 men and 11 women take to finish the job when working together?

    Time and Work Questions for SSC (Hard)

    These are some time and work problems with hard difficulty level. Try to solve them in 30-40 seconds.

    7) The four walls and ceiling of a room of length 23m, breadth 17m and height 8m are to be painted. Painter Raj can paint 240m2 in 6 days. Painter Aryan can paint 200m2 in 5 days. How long will Raj and Aryan take when they paint together?
