Mensuration Questions for RRB NTPC (Easy)
These are some easy mensuration problems that you should be able to solve in 5-10 seconds.
1) A circle and a rectangle have the same perimeter. The sides of the rectangle are 76cm and 56cm. Find the area of the circle.
2) The difference between the length and breadth of a rectangle is 8 m. If its perimeter is 288m, what is its area?
3) The area of a circle is increased by 264cm2 when its radius is increased by 6cm. Find the original radius of the circle.
Mensuration Questions for RRB NTPC (Medium)
These are some mensuration problems with medium difficulty level. Try to solve them in 15-20 seconds.
4) Two cross paths of uniform width 2m are constructed inside a rectangular park whose perimeter is 622m. Find the area of the park not covered by paths if the total area of the park is 3744m2.
5) The area of the base of a cone is 288cm2 and the area of the curved surface is 372cm2. What is its volume?
6) A path of uniform width runs along the inside of a rectangular field 41m long and 27m wide. The path occupies 1692m2. Find the width of the path.
Mensuration Questions for RRB NTPC (Hard)
These are some mensuration problems with hard difficulty level. Try to solve them in 30-40 seconds.
7) The perimeters of a rectangle and a square are 372m each. The area of the rectangle is less than that of the square by 225m2. Find the breadth of the rectangle.
8) The ratio of sides of a triangle is 3:5:4 and area of the triangle is 453cm2. Find the area of an equilateral triangle whose perimeter is same as that of the previous triangle.
9) The length of a room floor exceeds its width by 21m. The area of the floor remains the same when the length is decreased by 16m but the width is increased by 6m. Find the perimeter of the floor.
10) What is the area of a triangle having perimeter 39cm, one side 13cm and difference of other two sides 11cm?
